This is a story of a local sports woman from Warwickshire who was diagnosed with Prolactinoma and was forced to make some life changing choices. Her life went from competitive sports to ill health and now to a focused approach on managing her health,with the aid of 5 Element Acupuncture.
From a young age Catherine has been very active in competitive sports, she has ran at a national level, running from a very young age and went on to represent England in the home nations triathlon championships and Great Britain in her age group from 1999 through to 2003. Electroacupuncture may reduce inflammation that causes sepsis death, a recent study has shown. This research shows physical evidence of acupuncture's value beyond any that has been demonstrated before, and also shows potential benefits not just for sepsis, but for treating other inflammatory diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis and Crohn's disease. While investigating acupuncture mechanisms, the researchers also have determined that fenoldopam, a dopamine receptor agonist, also shows promise as a pharmaceutical sepsis treatment.

There are many stresses and strains that come with being a new mother, which is perhaps why Gwen Stefani paid a visit to her acupuncturist for a little relief today.
The flawless star went to a clinic in Los Angeles which practices the ancient Asian healing technique, accompanied by her seven-week-old son and his nanny.
Gwen later emerged looking refreshed and cradled her youngest child, who was wrapped in a blanket, as she carried him to her car.
